Parade Everywhere with a Louis Vuitton Multicolor Pochette

One of the most iconic and creative art exhibitions is planning on making a stop in the city of Valenciennes, France for a while. That exhibition is none other than the world famous Cow Parade, that unique and colorful series of statues that have surprised the entire planet.

Beginning in Chicago in 1999, the parade has since visited over 50 other cities, including New York City, Boston, London, Paris, Tokyo and Istanbul amongst others. The idea of the sculptures came from Pascal Knapp, a Swiss artist who collaborated with Chicago businessman Peter Hanig and the Commissioner of Cultural Affairs Lois Weisberg.

The reason that cows are the chosen animals is because its body shape can be change and formed into a virtually endless array of designs. The artists who make the cows consist of everyone from famous artists such as Peter Max to unknowns getting their start. There are over 2500 cows and they have delighted many. It certainly seems like the concept truly is universal.

The Valenciennes Cow Parade in France is going to be held for 2 months, the norm for the cow parades, from 12 September 2013 through 7 November 2013. At the end of the exhibition, the cows will be auctioned off as they usually are.

A zipper top closure in golden hardware secures the contents in the bag and opens via a golden pull.  The interior of this pre-owned bag is lined in a red berry tone in a micro fabric, and is able to have a gal travel around light.
